A: Rates are provided on the spot and are based on the total volume of the shipment and the destination.
Q: What does LCL mean?
A: It means "Less than full Container Load". This means that we can move your goods in a container with goods belonging to other clients. This makes it cheaper for you to move furniture, pieces of art, etc. across the world. LCL means the same as "groupage" or "consolidation".
Q: Why did Glens introduce this service?
A: We introduced it because we realised that many of our clients did not need full containers to ship their goods.
Q:What is the meaning of "Outbounds" & "Inbounds"?
A:INBOUNDS simply means IMPORTS and OUTBOUNDS means EXPORTS.
Q: How do I benefit as a client?
A: As a client you benefit because you pay only for the space that your shipment occupies in a container. You also benefit from regular dispatches, which result in shorter delivery times.
Q: When does my shipment arrive? How do I personally track my Glens Global shipment? Who & how will I be notified that my shipment has arrived?
A: Our destination agent will inform you by e-mail or telephone. We also keep you informed of your shipment as we constantly liase with the agent.
Q: Why should my shipment go via Rotterdam? Will there be any extra charges?
A: It goes via Rotterdam for trans-shipment to final destination. No, there are no extra charges incurred
Q: Do you have a branch at the final destination?
A: No for most international destinations, but we have profession and committed agents to handle your valued effects
Q: What is door-to-door service?
A: Collection from your door and deliver to your door at destination. This can be done for local, regional and international shipments.
Q: What are the transit times from Harare to the final delivery point?
A: Varies with destination(s). This is revealed to you at quoting stage.

A: Apply through your commercial bank

A: Tax clearance certificate from ZIMRA for non-diplomats. Valued list of all the goods to be exported

A: International regulations do not accept goods packed by owner – fears of terrorism
